Susan Floyd 

Dedicated to Serving Families

     Susan Floyd has 15 years of estate planning, probate and fiduciary experience.  She focuses her practice on estate planning, trust and estate administration, small business formation, prenuptial agreements, charitable giving and fiduciary compliance.
     Susan began her career with Wells Fargo Bank and later SunTrust Bank, where she served as a Fiduciary Trust Officer and Fiduciary Legal Counsel providing management and legal counsel for high-net-worth trust and estate accounts.  Her experience in these roles included managing fiduciary compliance, providing legal advice for all aspects of wealth and investment management including tax, probate, fiduciary, trust, contract, and property law.  As Fiduciary Legal Counsel, she was responsible for providing legal advice for over 22,000 trust accounts.
     Susan founded her law practice to serve individual families with their estate planning, estate administration, and business formation needs.   She understands that each family is unique and estate planning is a very personal experience.  Susan provides her clients with cost effective and personalized service.
     Susan graduated with high honors, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of California at Los Angeles School of Law.  She is licensed to practice law in both California and Georgia.  Susan continues to be interested in legal scholarship.  While maintaining her law practice, she also served as the Georgia Legal Editor for Barbri Bar Review (formerly a division of Thomson Reuters) for 4 years, writing and editing law books for law students and attorneys.
     Susan is happily married and the mother of two children.  She is active with legal issues pertaining to education law and serves as the Legislative Chair for the PTA of her children’s school.   She has also volunteered her time for the Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation and Cobb County Legal Aid.  She has also served as a fundraiser for March of Dimes, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and Children's Hospital of Atlanta.  Susan is dedicated to serving the needs of families.
